produced on A2 size paper done all in pigment pens. took me 2 days to produce :S

last month i submitted one of my piece to this art compitition in swindon, managed to get 2nd place and £50 vouchers as a reward , shweeeeet! would of like to be 1st place but wouldnt stand a chance against the person who won it. he did a life size portrait painting. frikin impressive it looks. unfortunatly i dont have a photo of the winners piece.

here are some images of the piece that got 2nd place, also the 2 little piece i also submitted to try and sell them. unfortunatly they didnt catch anyones attention, though im going to try and sell them on the internet (fingerscrossed)

somthing crazy that i applied on paper

i havnt been able to submit anything to www.threadless.com for ages as i dont think any of my stuff would be suitable for it or isnt good enough :S (me thinking all paranoid n self concious about my work again) but this month i thought to hell with it ill give it a go n see if anything good comes out of it, so i submited a image i done of a bird skull that iv coloured in using adobe illustrator.

a couple of sketches i thought i do today as i was exceedingly bored. drew a couple of poeple posing.

I did a website deisgn for a womans site called DZRTGRLS, the first version i done was good but unfortunatly i messed up on the size and hieght for it so i had to start all over again but this time with a correct size , plus added some watercolour effects to it as i thought it looked a tad dull on its own, this newer colourful version was definatly better and i was pleased with the result :D.

recently done a design for concrete hermit. they loved the look of a previouse design i did for MTV playground, so i took the liberty of doing a similar design but in a different way with the boombox idea.

today iv done a bit of watercolour painting, looked through images on lookbook.nu to get some ideas on sposes and figure drawing. i also tried looking for some good dressed people to draw them as characters in my sketchbook. picked three that tickled my fancy.

i created these characters to have different types of animal masks to show there personality .

honestly i wasnt comftable in painting these characters , i just went with the flow n see what the end result would look like. i think i might use this medium more often as im to use to using pencil and pen all the time.

Also iv produced a few designs this week that, done with pigment pens. just gotten use to doing these type of stuff compared to what i usually do. i find doing this type of drawing fun and experimental. i love getting into depth with the pens and drawing small intricate patterns. even though it is a time consumer, i realy enjoy doing it.

and also finally i did a design for MTV playgrounds compitition, did the catagory called the shirt inwhch i suprisingly won 1st on. the price that recieved for it is 20x shirt of my own design and that they use my image for there shirt brand. pritty shweet.

wow i havnt posted anything on here in so long. been slightly busy drawing and shirt deisgn comissions. just so happen i done a commission for nike US which is pirtty ace. will post an image of the design aswell as the shirt it self when they send mi one hopefully, also done stuff for tank theory and done a package design for don't panics next package issue, im rather excited to see what the image looks like on package, yay!.
